    • Torginol Coal-Tar Epoxy  Base is a two-pack system (Base and Converter) which must be mixed thoroughly in the ratio of 1-part Base: 1-part Converter and be allowed to induct for thirty minutes before being applied.
    • Failure to allow sufficient induction will defeat expected results.
    • Mix only the amount needed for the job. Unused mixture cannot be stored and will cure.
    • Pot life after mixing is approximately two hours@ 86 F.
    • Higher temperatures will reduce pot life.
    • Always stir Base and Converter thoroughly before blending.

Does paint expire or have a specific shelf life?

Answer: When stored properly, an unopened can of latex or oil-based paint should have a shelf life of 1 year. The best storage for paint is in a cool, dry area, away from extreme hot and cold temperatures. Paint should never be allowed to freeze and should be stored away from furnaces and other heat-generating appliances
