Description

ARBO ANTIRUS METAL PRIMER is LEAD & MERCURY FREE, Tropicalised, Environmentally Friendly Anti-corrosive Priming and Finishing paint.  Available as Metal Primer and Anti-corrosive Roof Paint.
Use:
 Priming of metal substrates such as steel frame structures, roofs, bridges, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.
Properties:
  •  Excellent corrosion inhibiting properties
  •  Dries to hard, impermeable finish
  •  Displays excellent adhesion on metal
  •  Superb resistance to Water and Impact
Finish: Matt
Coverage: 350-400 Sq.Feet per gallon depending on Surface Conditions, Porosity, Absorption, Film Thickness, etc.
Thinning and Clean-up: Thinning is generally not necessary. Use Arbo Regular Thinner for Spray or Roller applications and for Clean up.
Re-Coat Time: Allow drying for 16 hours or more before recoating.

Does paint expire or have a specific shelf life?

Answer: When stored properly, an unopened can of latex or oil-based paint should have a shelf life of 1 year. The best storage for paint is in a cool, dry area, away from extreme hot and cold temperatures. Paint should never be allowed to freeze and should be stored away from furnaces and other heat-generating appliances
